Job description

Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. is currently seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated person with a strong commitment to productivity and continuous improvement to join our Whitecourt Pulp Division as a Shift Technician, responsible for quality testing on pulp. This is a full-time position, working 12-hour shifts, and includes on-the-job training, established progression plans and opportunities for advancement within the mill’s technical group.

The ideal candidate

The qualified candidate will possess a high school diploma, the ability to work independently within a team environment and will hold a valid driver’s license. A diploma from a technical institute, or previous laboratory experience, would be considered an asset.
