Job summary

The Canadian Red Cross seeks a Site Manager to coordinate operations at a shelter or warming center in Montreal, with in-person work. You will oversee daily site functioning, ensure safety, and support teams serving people experiencing homelessness.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will implement best practices, manage inventory, and collaborate with partners to provide humane, trauma-informed services. Evening and weekend shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years overseeing a team.
• Experience in mental health, addiction or harm reduction is an asset.
• Experience with Canadian Red Cross is an asset.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all on-site activities and services to ensure safe, effective service delivery.
• Coordinate day-to-day work of employees, responders and volunteers at the site.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements based on field data.
• Serve as the health and safety point of contact during crises and incidents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community and municipal partners.
