A local government agency in Stony Plain is seeking a Shelter Keeper I to handle the maintenance of the shelter and the care of impounded animals. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a year of related experience, and excellent communication skills. Parkland County has a casual Shelter Keeper I position available with the Enforcement Services Department. Reporting to the Supervisor, Court Liaison & Shelter Operations this position is responsible for regular maintenance of the shelter and general care of impounded animals. The Shelter Keeper I will document animal behaviour, assist in the impounding, release and transport of animals, and provide support for administrative duties as required.
