AYS Exteriors in Brampton, ON is seeking a dependable sheet metal worker for on-site installation and repair in residential and small commercial construction. The role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience and a secondary school diploma.
You will measure, cut, fit and install sheet metal, operate metalworking machines, and ensure conformity to building codes. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required; safety boots are expected.

Tasks: Select equipment for residential and small commercial construction. Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Utilize computerized quantity take-off. Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces. Schedule work. Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification. Estimate costs and materials. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Team player. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
