Qualifications

• Sheet Metal experience preferred (1 year).
• Manufacturing experience required (1 year).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for fabrication.
• Ability to operate CNC machinery and metalworking tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC machines and metalworking tools to fabricate sheet metal components according to production specifications
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints to guide the precise fabrication of sheet metal parts
• Use measuring tools and perform calculations to ensure accurate cuts and bends
• Load and unload materials into machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning for safe and efficient operation
• Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
• Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Your Responsibilities

• Machinery Operation: Safely operate CNC machines and metalworking tools (brakes and shears) to fabricate sheet metal components according to production specifications
• Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret blueprints to guide the precise fabrication of sheet metal parts
• Measurement and Tool Use: Use measuring tools and perform calculations to ensure accurate cuts and bends
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials into machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning for safe and efficient operation
• Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals

Job Location

• Kingston, ON (on-site)

Shift Schedule

• Rotating early morning and afternoon shifts (Monday – Friday 5:45am - 2:15pm and Monday – Thursday 2:30pm - 12:30am)
• Every other Friday off
• Weekend shifts not required (occasional overtime is not mandatory and is dependent on factory needs)
