Job Summary

Our Sudbury team is currently looking for Sheet Metal journeyman and/or apprentice to join our growing team to assist with project, installation, and commercial mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist Journeyman on Sheetmetal projects and installation work; as a Journeyman, assist with projects and other duties as assigned.
2. Read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, etc.
3. Safely lift up to 50 lbs.
4. Perform shop/office cleaning, equipment and furniture moving as required.
5. Assist with site cleanup and maintaining a safe work environment.
6. Pick up and deliver materials and equipment as required.

Qualifications

1. Ontario Journeyman credentials or Ontario indentured apprentice only.
2. Experience with the installation of ductwork, venting, appliance installations, etc.
3. Furnace installation experience is an asset.
4. Ability to work with Sheet Metal in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
5. Heavy lifting may be required.
6. Ability to perform work with a high degree of safety.
7. Positive attitude and professional communication skills.
8. Valid driver’s license.
9. Ability to pass security clearance.
