Account Executive/ Technical Recruiter/ Sales Specialist

LeverageTek is actively seeking a SharePoint Online Expert for a 2-month contract with its Ottawa based customer.

Work Location

Key Tasks

• Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, site collections, and libraries.
• Develop custom solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) when needed.
• Implement information architecture including metadata, content types, navigation, and taxonomy.
• Integrate SharePoint Online with other Microsoft 365 applications like Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• Establish and enforce governance, security, and compliance policies.
• Migrate content from legacy SharePoint versions or third-party systems to SharePoint Online.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions.
• Monitor usage, performance, and ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date on Microsoft 365 roadmap and SharePoint Online enhancements.

Key Qualifications

• Define and manager information architecture including site structure, navigation, metadata, content types and taxonomy to ensure intuitive user experience.
• Demonstrated experience in SharePoint security and Purview.
• Proven experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Other Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, modern sites, and administration.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), SPFx, and PnP PowerShell is a plus.
• Familiarity with governance, security best practices, and compliance in Microsoft 365.
