About our Graduate Excellence Model Program
Our Graduate Excellence Model (GEM) program is an accelerated program, especially created to build talent pipeline for the future of the company. Our goal is to develop future leaders who are not only technically proficient but also collaborative and inclusive. Upon the embarkation of this 2 year program, you'll first go through a transition phase to build foundational knowledge about semiconductors. From there, you'll deepen your technical skill set and problem-solving abilities. Finally, you'll get to apply what you've learned and develop leadership skills by driving continuous improvement projects and engaging in activities for holistic growth. Our program includes technical induction, e-learning on semiconductor processes, soft skills & personal improvement skills and fab-centric training programs, with a technical showcase to management at the end. Why this role
As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role to fuel our growth in Equipment Engineering. Your work will span across our existing and new Fabs, with a focus on advance manufacturing and new technologies such as AR/VR. Your role will be key to improving equipment performance and availability to meet production and cycle time requirements.
What You Will Do
Support company's production ramp schedule by installing and qualifying new tool.
Work with the equipment suppliers, maintenance technicians, and cross-functional teams on equipment PM (preventive maintenance) procedures on assigned tools.
Setup and maintain (FDC) Fault Detection Classification, PM specification, and other quality systems for the assigned tools.
Collaborate with site teams locally and globally to drive, develop and implement equipment improvement projects to improve equipment robustness and efficiency, cost reduction and reliability of equipment through the CIP (Continuous Improvement Program).
Participate in troubleshooting and task forces as needed. Develop sustainable solutions that prevent recurrence.
Engage with other regions in knowledge exchange on BKM (best known method) alignment and improvement levers.
Opportunities for job rotation and overseas assignment.
Opportunities to file patents, author technical papers for publication and present at local or overseas seminars.
What You Will Need
MS/BS in, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Good team player, able to work independently, resourceful, willing to learn new skills with good initiatives
Good analytical and problem-solving skill
Strong communication skills (interpersonal, oral and written)
Knowledge in FMEA, SPC, OCAP, DOE and 8D approaches is a plus
