The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42 - $59.52 / hour.
We are currently looking to fill a Full-Time opportunity for a Sexual Health and Blood Borne Infections Nurse to support Population & Public Health in Surrey, B.C.

The Sexual Health and Blood Borne Infections (SHBBI) Nurse works as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation services for Fraser Health clients at risk for or affected by sexually transmitted or blood borne infections such as HIV and Hep C. This role supports clients living with HIV through an integrated case management approach, utilizing outreach and harm reduction principles, to engage and retain clients in care. The nurse provides sexual health and youth clinical services and promotes sexual health in the community, including case investigation, follow-up, and contact tracing for reportable diseases.
Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Graduation from an approved nursing program including public health. Certification in Reproductive Health (STIs) with BCCNM, plus two years' recent experience in public health/communicable disease management, including HIV testing and contraceptive practices. Valid BC Driver's License and a personal vehicle for work.
