IS2 Workforce Solutionsis now hiring Sewing Machine Operators (Industrial Sewing) in Edmonton

Location:Edmonton, AB

Shift:Monday- Friday7:30am – 4:00pm

WHY YOU’LL WANT THIS JOB:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Operate single, double, and multi-needle sewing machines to complete products as per customer specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Inspect own work in order to meet quality standards
  • Monitor sewing machine operation as per maintenance program
  • Verify fabrics, threads, and parts; move/handle materials as per work order
  • Other duties as assigned and/or directed by Operation leaders

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO QUALIFY:

  • Experience operating industrial sewing machines such asSinger, Union Special, Brother, Juki, and Consew is preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English in order to communicate effectively
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing /assembly environment would be an asset
  • Willing to learn new skills and grow with the company
