Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking Operators to join our growing team in Port Perry, ON. The role involves trenchless lining of sewers and infrastructure, maintaining trucks, and operating equipment such as compressors and boilers. Travel to sites in a company vehicle may be required up to 20-30% on weekdays.

A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork is stated throughout the posting. Candidates should have a DZ license and experience in robotic cutting, patch repairs, boiler operation, and CIPP/UV

Qualifications

• DZ Class license required.
• Experience in Robotic Cutting, Spot repairs, Boiler Operation, CIPP Lining, UV Lining, Fold and Form Lining.
• Mechanical inclination.
• NASSCO PACP Certification an asset.
• Confined Space Experience.
• Display flexibility and confidentiality.
• Highly driven, focused and self-motivated.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Weekday travel in a company vehicle up to 20-30%.
• 10-12 hour shifts.

Our clients range from residential homeowners to large construction and engineering companies and Municipalities throughout Canada.

This position is associated with LIUNA 183

Key Responsibilities:

• Trenchless lining of sewers, culverts and repairs to underground infrastructure .
• Maintain trucks and equipment in order to provide efficient operation.
• Operate required equipment including compressors, boilers and other equipment as required.
• Create and sustain workingrelationshipwith coworkers, contractors and municipal inspectors.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• “DZ” Class license required
