Sewer Squad Co. Inc. is hiring a Sewer & Drain Technician to join a dynamic team in Toronto, ON. This commission-based field role focuses on generating new maintenance contracts, building relationships, and expanding the customer base while following safety and industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing service work.
• Valid G Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Sales and cold-calling experience in the industry.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify new sales opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver sales pitches to potential clients.
• Generate leads.
• Provide regular reports on sales activity and performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure health and safety policies and company policies are adhered to.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and healthy manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Adhere to all plumbing codes and regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned.

The Big Task

The Drain & Sewer Technician/Sales is a commission-based position that is responsible for generating new business through the identification and acquisition of new customers, lead generation activities and industry networking out on the field. The primary objective of this position is to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives with respect to new maintenance contract sales in an assigned geographic territory.

• Meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective sales techniques
• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
• Conducting market research and analyzing sales data to identify new sales opportunities
• Preparing and delivering sales pitches to potential clients
• Generating leads
• Providing regular reports on sales activity and performance
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensuring health and safety policies and company policies are adhered to
• Performing all job functions in a safe and healthy manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Adhering to all federal, provincial, municipal and city plumbing codes
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Successful experience in plumbing service work
• A valid G Driver’s License with a clean record
• Demonstrated sales and cold-calling experience, within the industry
• Consistently meeting deadlines within a fast-paced work environment and works effectively within time constraints

Additional Information

The appointed candidate annual salary range within $120,000 - $200,000.
