Overview
The Settlement Clerk contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by managing daily cashiering, deposit reconciliation, and document compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled and highly energetic, while possessing problem solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Compensation: $44,000 - $71,720
Responsibilities
- Cashiers all delivery routes and equipment maintenance routes daily
- Reconciles and prepares bank deposits
- Periodic cashiering/deposits of special events & employee sales
- Periodic review of auto finalization and auto settlement is performed to identify/address issues – inquire on cause of exceptions and action plan to course correct.
- Escalates driver over/shorts to Delivery Supervisors
- Manages all delivery documents to compliance; Bill of Delivery Receipts, Proof of Deliveries, and Exception Settlement entries completed and deposits summaries generated
- Sort and send route documents to Accounts Receivables team daily
- Responsible for reviewing Settlement reports and providing trend analysis to Delivery Supervisors
- Hold drivers accountable to obtaining ‘Proof of Delivery’ Documents and escalate to Delivery Supervisors
- Maintenance/Filing of Transportation of Dangerous Goods documents daily from the Drivers.
- Periodic review of rolling three period trend review of Shell activity, highlight Customers with low shell returns and address significant adjustments
- Quarterly review of high Risk Invoice trend reporting to identify and address suspicious activity
- CO2 trend reports are reviewed to identify suspicious activity or coaching opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or a minimum of 3-years relevant experience, preferably in a high-speed sales or operational environment
- Prior experience supporting Sales and/or Delivery teams considered an asset
- Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Incumbent must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum while also completing all daily tasks efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated planning and organization skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Willingness to learn new skills with a commitment to open communication & teamwork
