NRT Technology Corp. is seeking a Settlement Administrator to support the Settlements Team in Toronto. You will aid in customer inquiries, process financial transactions, and ensure PCI compliance while delivering high-quality service.

Reporting to the Settlement Manager, you will help with month-end tasks, reconciliations, and communications with internal teams. The ideal candidate has a college diploma and strong Excel skills, with a customer-service mindset and discretion.

  • A college diploma is required with related experience.

  • Experience in financial transactions or customer support preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced).

Responsabilidades

  • Resolve customer inquiries using analytical and investigative skills.
  • Respond to telephone and email inquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Process bank traces, chargebacks, and reversals via 3rd party interfaces.
  • Investigate discrepancies and issue adjustments.
  • Assist in month-end tasks including statements, billing, and entries.
  • Ensure PCI and Interac compliance in all activities.
  • Perform general clerical duties and assist with special projects.

Reporting to the Manager, Settlement, TNS, the Settlement Administrator will aid, support, and help coordinate the functions and interactions of the Settlements Team while providing the best customer service possible.

Job Responsibilities

Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Use analytical and investigation skills to resolve customer inquiries.
Respond to telephone and electronic enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
Process bank traces, chargebacks, and reversals using various 3rd party interfaces
Investigate discrepancies, and issue adjustments.
Assist in month-end activates that include but are not limited to preparation and delivery of statements, billing, and making accounting entries.
Safeguarding the interests of the company at all times by compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Interac regulations.
Follow established work priorities, ensuring that deadlines are met, and procedures are followed.
Performing general clerical duties.
Assist with special projects as they arise

Must Have
  • A college diploma is required together with some related experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a fast-paced customer oriented business preferably dealing with financial transactional debit and/or credit processing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Established ability to exercise absolute discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Highly motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Confident and versatile, with ability to multi-task and prioritize work, strong time management skills.
  • A desire to succeed and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Basic Excel skill is a must, preferably Intermediate to advanced skill.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A background in customer support would be beneficial.

This is an existing vacancy. The base salary range for this role listed is based on market indicators to determine compensation, and an offer will consider various factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and training.
