Set-Up Technician

The Set-up Technician would be responsible for setting up all tools and components in an efficient and timely manner while providing support to the Manufacturing Department, for instance, material handling, continuous improvement initiatives and general labour tasks.

Job Details:

  • Full-time, 10 hours (days/afternoon rotational)

Qualifications:

· Minimum high school diploma or experience working in a manufacturing environment

· Ability to perform basic math functions, including using decimals, fractions, and an understanding of weights and measurements conversions

· The capability and experience to operate a crane and forklift in a safe and responsible manner

· Report to work on time and as scheduled

· Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time as well as bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms and/or legs

· Must be able to lift up to approx. 35 lbs
