The University of Saskatchewan is seeking Sessional Lecturers for their Department of Plant Sciences to teach various agricultural courses for the 2025-26 academic year. The Department of Plant Sciences, College of Agriculture and Bioresources invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following sessions: 2025-26 Regular Session Course Number, Section, and Name: PLSC 202.3 (01) Introductory Precision Agriculture Course Number, Section, and Name: PLSC 205.3 (01) Principles and Management of Agricultural Equipment Course Number, Section, and Name: PLSC 260.3 (01) Principles of Plant Protection (1/3) Course Number, Section, and Name: PLSC 311.3 (02) General Apiculture A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment. Application Process:

Qualifications: Minimum of a M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Agricultural or Biological Sciences and teaching experience. Previous experience teaching or as a teaching assistant would be an asset.

Qualifications: Applicant must have knowledge of the design, operation, and maintenance of current agricultural machinery, and knowledge of operation of digital technology relevant to agricultural production systems. A bachelor’s degree in agriculture or agricultural engineering with relevant experience is required. A post-graduate degree in a related area is preferred. Instructional experience with a good track record is a definite asset. A valid driver’s license is required for off campus site visits.
