Course description:This course introduces students to the production of digital moving image artworks. Students are encouraged to work in all production and postproduction forms including live video recording, GIFs and animation. In addition to hands-on instruction to cameras and editing software, this course includes individual and group critiques, seminars, and critical viewing of contemporary moving image artworks.

Minimum qualifications:MA or MFA required with teaching experience. Applicants may be asked to supply references.

Preferred qualifications: Experience teaching studio art courses/students.

Description of duties:Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials and platform, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
