The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a Sessional Lecturer for the course PLAN 446.3 (Advanced Urban Design) in the Fall Session. Candidates should possess an MA degree in Geography or Planning and relevant professional experience. This role involves teaching, course preparation, and student evaluation, contributing to the academic development of future urban planners.
The Department of Geography and Planning, College of Arts and Science, invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2025-2026 Regular session:

Term and Course Dates: Fall Session (September to December)

Delivery Mode: Lecture
Course Schedule: Wednesdays, 1:30-4:20 pm
Expected Enrollment Limit: 25
Qualifications: Minimum of an MA degree in Geography or Planning, or in Regional & Urban Development, along with at least two years of professional experience in planning/urban design. Previous teaching experience at a post-secondary institution is an asset. The candidate should hold an advanced degree in urban planning or urban design and be a member of a related professional field, specifically the Saskatchewan Professional Planning Institute.
A valid driver’s license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be canceled due to low enrollment.
