Position Summary: The Paul J. Hill School of Business at the University of Regina invites applications for one Sessional Lecturer to teach the following in person course during the Winter 2026 semester:
BUS 303 – Small Business Start-Up and Management
Using a multi-period entrepreneurship simulation, students establish and manage a small enterprise. Topics include: characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, recognizing opportunities, legal forms and environments, financing, marketing, financial management, operations, human resources, using boards and advisors, deciding to startup, buy or franchise, and managing growth, transfer or exit.
The Winter semester class period is from January 6, 2026 to April 13, 2026 with the final exam period running from April 16 to 29, 2025. Maximum enrollment for this course is 48 and a Teacher Assistant may be provided if requested and available. Please note that receiving a TA is not guaranteed and applicants should be prepared to teach without a TA.

Work Hours: This course is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The Sessional Lecturer is expected to teach on campus for each of the 26 lectures, be in the classroom 10-15 minutes before each class starts, as well as offer regular office hours for their students each week.
