Description

The School of Public Policy is Canada¿s leading policy school, which provides hands-on training in Canada and abroad through a Master of Public Policy (MPP), MSc in Sustainable Energy Development, and Executive Training Programs. Its alumni can be found in leadership positions in the private, public and non-profit sectors across Canada.

The MPP Graduate Program invites applications for sessional instructor appointments to teach the following courses:
Winter 2028
PPOL 699: Foreign Policy Analysis

This course is designed to familiarize graduate students with the field foreign policy analysis, generally considered to be a distinct subject within the broader field of International Relations. The course will focus on theories and empirical findings, using a level-of-analysis approach to explore the factors that influence foreign policy decisions.

Position Requirements

The School of Public policy is seeking a candidate with excellent teaching credentials and a demonstrated background in the subject matter for the course. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching, particularly at the post-graduate level, and ideally hold an earned doctoral degree in an area closely related to the course to be taught. Previous involvement with the MPP program is an asset.
