DUTIES
The University and Employment Preparation Department at Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a sessional lecturer to teach a section of the following course in Summer 2025: PHYS 0500 (Introduction to Physics 1).
Course description: This course is suitable for students with little or no physics background. PHYS 0500 examines the basic principles upon which the discipline of physics is founded. In doing so, it provides students with a new perspective from which to view the world around them and with a solid content basis for future courses in physics should this be the objective. The course is oriented toward developing experimental and problem solving skills.
