Thompson Rivers University is seeking applications for a Sessional Lecturer/Lab Instructor position in Introduction to Climate Change at the Williams Lake Campus, located in the scenic Cariboo region of British Columbia.

About the Campus and Region

TRU’s Williams Lake campus is situated approximately three hours northwest of Kamloops, on T’exelcemc territory within the unceded lands of the Secwepemc Nation. The campus offers a welcoming community, a quiet lifestyle, and access to outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and snowmobiling in the beautiful wilderness of the Cariboo region.

Position Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach courses related to climate change, contributing to the Department of Natural Resource Sciences at the Williams Lake Campus.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or higher in ecology, environmental biology, physical geography, or physical sciences (physics, geology, chemistry).
  • Successful teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred.
Compensation

Pay Band: $2,575.50 per credit (Sessional Faculty - Academic)
