Position Description

TRU’s Williams Lake campus is located approximately three hours northwest of Kamloops, in the scenic Cariboo region, on T’exelcemc territory within the unceded lands of the Secwepemc Nation. Our small, friendly campus in Williams Lake offers a quiet, affordable lifestyle with access to outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and snowmobiling.

The successful candidate will teach ECON 1900, Principles of Microeconomics, during the Winter 2025 term using in-class, on-campus delivery methods. Additional sections may be available, including blended or online formats. Semester details are as follows:

  • Classes: Sep 3 to Dec 5, 2025
  • Exam Period: Dec 8 to Dec 20, 2025

Note: This posting pertains specifically to Economics 1900. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and be prepared to deliver face-to-face classes at the Williams Lake campus.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Economics; PhD preferred
  • Relevant post-secondary teaching experience with strong teaching skills preferred
