DUTIES
The Faculty of Adventure Studies, Culinary Arts and Tourism Management invites applications for part-time Sessional Faculty members to fill a variety of positions for field and classroom courses in the Adventure Studies department for the upcoming school year.
The successful candidates will join a hard-working team dedicated to creating and maintaining TRU's leadership role in Canada's post-secondary adventure training. This position will be of interest to candidates with extensive experience in the appropriate sports.

Term of Employment:employment will occur on various dates during the period of August1, 2025 to July 31, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant Diploma or professional qualifications (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
Extensive professional outdoor experience in various types of terrain and geographical locations
Extensive personal and profession experience within an adventure business and adventure guiding application
Familiarity with TRU programs and courses
Current membership/industry certification at the instructor or examiner level required
Current first aid certification required
