DUTIES
The Department of Communication and Visual Arts seeks qualified candidates to teach the following courses in Communication, Speech, and Journalism for the Fall 2024 semester. All teaching assignments are subject to successful course enrolment and funding support. Course delivery will be on campus in Kamloops.
CMNS 2160: Mass Communication
CMNS 2850: Advanced Occupational Writing for ARET
CMNS 3240:Advanced Professional Communication
JOUR 2200: Introduction to Reporting Skills and Techniques
JOUR 3030: Newswriting
SPEE 1500:Speech Communications
CMNS 4530:Organizational Communication
QUALIFICATIONS
Terminal degree in Communication or a closely related discipline required, except in the following cases.
A master’s degree in a related field is the minimum qualification required for the following:

CMNS 1310 CMNS 1980 CMNS 2840
CMNS 1500 CMNS 2290 CMNS 2850

A master’s degree plus significant journalism experience is the minimum qualification required for all Journalism courses.
