Job Description

The Services Manager for Digital & Lifecycle Services (DLS) in Canada reports directly to the Country Head of Danfoss Drives and will be located in Canada with preference to Oakville or GTA. The Services Manager for Canada is a critical role responsible for leading, managing and developing Danfoss' DLS business within the Canadian market. This position encompasses three key areas: managing service partners, ensuring service quality and developing service capabilities, and driving sales/business development for the Digital and Lifecycle Services division. The Services Manager will be a key contributor to the growth and success of Danfoss' service offerings in Canada.

Job Responsibilities

Service Partner Management:

· Identify, onboard, and/or manage a network of qualified service partners across Canada.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with service partners, ensuring alignment with Danfoss' standards and objectives.

· Negotiate service agreements, monitor partner performance against key metrics and communicate with stakeholders (sales team, DLS), and drive prioritized initiatives for the channel.

· Ensure cost-effective service delivery without sacrificing customer experience.

· Provide training and support to service partners to enhance their capabilities.

Service Quality & Service Capabilities:

· Secure outstanding service performance, customer satisfaction. and quality via internal resources and service partner network

· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track service performance.

· Analyze service data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions, be accountable for service cases & lead major quality cases/service projects

· Contribute to the development of new service offerings and capabilities of services partners to meet evolving customer needs & ensuring coverage across products and applications

· Develop and maintain the service operating model for Canada, act as a Liaison between partners and Danfoss DLS division

Sales/Business Development (Digital and Lifecycle Services):

· Act as a champion for the Digital and Lifecycle Services division within Canada, and promote DrivePro Services and support upselling

· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for service contracts, upgrades/retrofits, and digital solutions.

· Collaborate with the Vertical Sales Leaders to develop and execute sales strategies to promote service offerings to new and existing customers to achieve revenue targets

· Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team on service-related matters.

· Develop business development plans and activities to grow the service business.

· Build long-term relationships with all stakeholders internal & external (sales, inside sales, tech specialists, management etc.)

Required (basic) qualifications

· 4-yr. Degree: Business or Engineering or equivalent experience

· 7+ years of experience in service management, sales, or business development, preferably in a related industry (e.g., HVAC, industrial automation, heavy industry).

Preferred qualifications

· Proven track record of successfully managing service partners and delivering high-quality service.

· Strong understanding of service business models and market dynamics.

· Strong understanding of Variable Frequency Drives or similar automation equipment

· Experience in the business-to-business (B2B) sales process.

· Experience with various sales channel coordination of independent partner networks, e.g. – distribution, representatives, OEMs etc.
