Role Overview

The Solution Architect – Platform Integration is a key member of the Service Management Tools team, responsible for designing applications and translating client business requirements into systems/technical specifications. Collaborating with Project Managers, Technical Architects, and team members, the Solution Architect ensures the delivery of comprehensive solutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in process flow analysis and redesign
2. Provide architecture and technical guidance for design and implementation
3. Conduct custom or out-of-the-box demonstrations as needed
4. Offer subject matter expertise and industry best practices
5. Create detailed functional design documents aligned with customer requirements
6. Collaborate with other Technical Architects to develop technical specifications for custom development and system integration
7. Contribute to effort estimation processes
8. Maintain current ServiceNow knowledge through self-study and training

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

We seek self-motivated candidates with proven experience in ServiceNow technologies, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are organized, analytical, team-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities. Preferred qualifications include:

• B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent
• Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration, custom development, and scoped applications
• Experience with client-side and server-side development (UI Policies, Scripts, APIs, etc.)
• Knowledge of web-based and enterprise application architecture
• Experience with ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps) and CSDM
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate business needs into solutions
• Relevant project methodology experience
• 5-7 years in professional services or support roles, 3-6 years in ServiceNow integration/implementation
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, and two CISs), with ATF experience preferred
