Job Description
Infosys is seeking a ServiceNow Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation for testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; or three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
- Authorized to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visa; sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow scripting experience.
- Experience in HRSD and ITSM modules is essential.
- PowerShell coding experience is required.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Server Side scripting, and Client Side scripting.
- Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications.
- Certifications: Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
- Development experience in ServiceNow (minimum 3 years).
- Implement HR applications to set up HR data and configure applications aligned with HR processes.
- Strong experience with HR Service Management, Knowledge Management, Service Portal, Chat, Reporting, Integrations, and HR Hub.
- Demonstrated competence in HR functional areas, especially employee relations and change management.
- Experience with HR dashboards, reports, and management modules to monitor HR cases and employee satisfaction.
- Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services for HR modules, including Case Management, HR Administration, Knowledge Base, and Employee Service Centre.
- Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading French.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interface with stakeholders, applying technical proficiency across the ServiceNow Implementation Methodology stages.
- Evaluate multiple products for compliance and suggest the best solutions, products, and architectures, emphasizing Greenfield, Cloud-based, mobile-first, and minimal customization.
- Define, plan, and develop solutions, frameworks, and IPs around ServiceNow and Service Management.
- Promote reusable frameworks and artifacts; create knowledge and certification artifacts and evaluation guides.
- Design and implement client-facing ServiceNow solutions.
- Experience with performance-compliant design and sustainable architecture.
- Implement and integrate enterprise software applications.
- Understand ServiceNow lifecycle, multitask, and manage time effectively.
- Support scheduling, releases, upgrades, and new technology deployments.
- Possess business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
- Quick learner of new technologies through instruction and self-training.
- Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools.
- Experience with ITIL processes; ITIL certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Creative in implementing Service improvements, automation, incident reduction, etc.
- Flexible and willing to learn new technologies and adapt to roles.
- Experience in writing RFPs, solutions, and client presentations.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams, including onshore/offshore collaboration.
