Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on Domain Separation within a TPSM (Third-Party Service Management) instance. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of:
- ServiceNow platform development, with a specific emphasis on implementing and managing domain separation
- Ensuring secure, multi-tenant functionality across distinct business units
- Developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations while ensuring data isolation and segregation in a TPSM environment
What You Will Do
- Domain Separation Improvement and Maintenance: Review and recommend improvements to the domain separation solution within ServiceNow, ensuring secure data and process separation across multiple domains. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into domain separation models. Ensure appropriate access and visibility for all business units while maintaining data isolation.
- ServiceNow Development: Develop and customize applications, workflows, business rules, scripts, and user interfaces. Collaborate with other developers and administrators to ensure seamless integration and customization. Develop solutions aligned with domain separation best practices.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure ServiceNow to meet TPSM and domain-specific needs. Work with process owners to create and maintain configurations, including domain-specific views, notifications, data sources, and service catalog items. Assist with setting up domain-specific RBAC.
- Collaboration and Support: Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for domain separation issues. Collaborate with administrators, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure correct configurations. Assist in migration and deployment of configurations. Work with clients and internal teams to implement configurations. Leverage API and integrations with systems like Active Directory, LDAP, ConnectWise, and others.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize platform performance for scalability, availability, and security. Troubleshoot performance issues related to domain separation and TPSM instances.
- Documentation & Training: Document configurations, workflows, and processes. Provide training to end users and team members on domain-specific features.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong knowledge of domain separation, preferably in a TPSM instance
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing domain separation models in ServiceNow
- Proven track record in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications, workflows, and business rules
Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in ServiceNow features: Studio, Business Rules, Script Includes, Workflows, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Notifications
- Strong understanding of domain separation concepts: data partitioning, roles, security, multi-tenant configurations
- Familiarity with TPSM processes, configurations, workflows
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP Web Services, API integrations
- Experience with RBAC, ACLs, data security in multi-domain environments
Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Implementation Specialist modules are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-instance configurations in domain-separated environments
- Ability to work in fast-paced settings with multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of ITIL best practices and Change Management processes
- Experience with Agile methodologies
