ServiceNow FSM Architect Role – Canada – Fully Remote
Our Canadian based client are hiring a ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) Architectto join the team remotely in Canada. The successful candidate will lead the design, development and implementation of ServiceNow FSM solutions that enhance our client’s field service operations. This role will play a strategic part in translating business needs into scalable ServiceNow FSM architecture, while ensuring alignment with enterprise IT standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and design of ServiceNow FSM solutions tailored to meet complex business requirements.
Define and document technical architecture, data models, integrations and workflows for FSM applications.
Collaborate with enterprise architects and other platform architects to ensure FSM fits into the larger ServiceNow and ITSM ecosystem.
Guide FSM solution development including configuration, scripting, custom application development, and third-party integrations.
Oversee and validate technical deliverables from internal teams or third-party vendors.
Work closely with business stakeholders, field operations and service delivery teams to understand pain points and improvement opportunities.
Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather and prioritize functional and technical requirements.
Establish and enforce best practices for FSM implementation, development standards, and platform governance.
Mentor junior architects and developers, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives.
Participate in roadmap planning for ServiceNow FSM, including upgrades and new feature enablement.
Skillset
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar.
At least 8 years of overall experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years specifically working with the ServiceNow platform.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM).
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model and platform capabilities.
Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers and third-party systems.
Solid understanding of field service operations, workforce scheduling, mobile workforce enablement and customer service.
Proven ability to lead complex ServiceNow FSM projects end-to-end.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, FSM Implementation Specialist) highly preferred.
Experience in other ServiceNow modules such as CSM, ITSM, ITOM or HRSD.
Familiarity with mobile development or ServiceNow mobile app customization.
