Fountain Tire Ladner, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Writer!

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Creating work orders, arranging bookings, and communicating with technicians
  2. Providing service quotes, obtaining customer authorization, finalizing sales, and following up with customers
  3. Proactively calling customers to assess their satisfaction with our services
  4. Recommending tire, wheel, and mechanical services to customers
  5. Ensuring accurate billing and processing all necessary information in the computer system
  6. Keeping promotional materials updated in the showroom
  7. Participating in safety initiatives to ensure safety for customers and staff on-site and on the road
  8. Completing assigned e-learning and safety courses, adhering to standards and policies
  9. Assisting in inventory management through documentation and annual counts
What does it take to get on track?
  • Experience in the automotive repair or tire industry is an asset
  • Effective listening skills to identify customer needs and provide recommendations
  • Working knowledge of passenger, light truck, and specialty tires and mechanical services
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
