North Ridge Development Corporation, Saskatchewan's leading home builder, is seeking a Service & Warranty Manager to join our Saskatoon team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Apply North Ridge's warranty and Saskatchewan New Home Warranty to review and approve service requests.
  2. Direct Warranty Technician(s) at the site on how to proceed and what is and is not covered under warranty.
  3. Discuss service requests not covered by North Ridge's warranty program with the Vice President of Construction to resolve.
  4. Work to resolve issues with customers prior to sending to New Home Warranty.
  5. Collaborate with the Vice President of Construction to set and track the warranty budget.
  6. Conduct weekly warranty meetings.
  7. Conduct weekly Toolbox training sessions with warranty staff.
  8. Provide training on new standards and products.
  9. Train new personnel in the Warranty Department.
  10. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in the warranty program.
  11. Recommend changes to products and workmanship.
  12. Review and approve staff timesheets.
  13. Complete Vehicle Maintenance Reports monthly.
  14. Manage the performance of direct reports.
  15. Resolve problems/issues effectively and promptly.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
  • General knowledge of building, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • 5+ years of carpentry, renovation, or home improvement experience.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • Ability to read house plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license insurable by North Ridge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused and driven.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, from hot to cold.
