Job summary

A busy truck and trailer repair shop is seeking a dedicated Service Manager. The ideal candidate must have excellent multitasking abilities and effective communication skills while managing documentation for repairs. A foundational understanding of vehicle mechanics is essential, along with English proficiency, and familiarity with Health and Safety protocols. Knowledge of truck and trailer parts and a 310T license are beneficial. This position requires strong organizational skills to handle customer interactions and technician coordination.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to multitask, ensure that necessary repairs and maintenance are properly documented, estimated, and communicated in a thorough and timely fashion. Excellent skills needed to communicate effectively with management, staff and customers.
• Must have a foundational understanding of vehicle mechanics to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.
• Must be able to multitask effectively, juggling phone calls, customer questions and coordinating with technicians.
• Must be computer literate.
• Excellent English - speaking and written. Spanish is an asset.
• Excellent spelling skills required.
• Even though you will not be a dedicated salesman, you will need to be able to explain services needed to customers.
• Familiar with Health and Safety protocols.
• Knowledge of truck and trailer parts is beneficial.
• 310T license is an asset.
