W.F. Botkin is currently looking to hire a service truck driver. This role is responsible for going to job sites for inspecting, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining heavy duty equipment.

Duties :

• Disassembling, repairing, modifying, manufacturing, overhauling, and troubleshooting equipment
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with operators
• Maintain accurate record of all maintenance and repair work
• Complete all necessary reports for parts ordering, daily service reports, etc.

Requirements :

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in field work or as a heavy-duty mechanic
• MUST be mechanically inclined
• Knowledgeable with service requirements for road building equipment and aggregate equipment
• Minimum Class 3 license with "A" endorsement; Clean drivers abstract
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Excellent judgement and able to make responsible decisions
• Ability to work independently without constant direction
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs occasionally
• Flexibility on working overtime, added shifts, and being out of the city at times
