Your role on our team:

The Service Technician repairs machines to the customer’s satisfaction in the shop, field or customer’s location. Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing customer machinery.
• Troubleshooting machine systems and researching problems.
• Conducting machinery inspections.
• Conducting machinery set-up and adjustments.
• Using a laptop to enter labor, fill out service reports, and complete warranty reports.
• Using service manuals and parts books to look up specifications and parts for repairs.
• Adhering to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times.
• Following and supporting compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
• Demonstrating regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.
• Filling in for supervisor as needed.
• Training new employees and student interns, as required.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Your profile:

• 2-5 years’ industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of agricultural equipment is a plus.
• Prior experience in troubleshooting methods is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Farm background is desirable.
• Ability to travel within the region and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to operate large machinery.
• Valid driver’s license required with a verifiable safe driving history.
• Ability to see, hear, and speak well enough to use a telephone, computer, and cell phone, and to present and explain product details to customers.
• Ability to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Following all safety rules, regulations, and policies.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and pick up objects.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
