Join Our Team as a Service Technician Shop at Epiroc!

Your Mission:

The Quality Analyst is responsible to collect, validate, analyze, and report the results from several source inputs that will support the safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) key performance indicators (KPI). The position reports to the National SHEQ Manager and is located in Lively, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull electrical permits, complete work to code, and communicate with electrical inspectors.
  • Create reports for new electrical installs, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Work with high voltage & high current equipment and associated control systems.
  • Design and implement circuit protection, power distribution modules, relays, sensors, and actuators.
  • Work with inverters, motors, converters, and general electrical components such as contactors, relays, and batteries.
  • Work with control systems such as PLC, DCS, etc.
  • Create detailed wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Mathematical calculations, problem-solving. General system troubleshooting.
  • Programming and troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Arc flash training, calculations, oversight.
  • Welding, machining, fabricating work.
  • Microgrid design, development and oversight.
  • Oversee health and safety in the shop.

Your profile:

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial electrician experience.

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

  • Valid BC electrical ticket.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Friendly disposition. Work well with geeks, gearheads, and number crunchers.
