Pacific Blue Mechanical is hiring Red Seal Journeymen Plumbers for our growing Service Division across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

We’re seeking experienced, licensed professionals who can confidently handle a range of plumbing tasks—from diagnosing leaks and repiping, to working on heating systems and troubleshooting complex issues in both residential and light commercial settings.

Our ideal candidate is a true tradesperson: someone with strong technical knowledge, a professional attitude, and the ability to work cleanly and efficiently with minimal supervision. You’ve been in the game for a few years, and you take pride in doing it right the first time.

Commercial, strata, or multi-residential service experience is preferred. Backflow certification, hydronic heating experience, and strong diagnostic skills will make you stand out even more. You’ll need your own basic hand tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a criminal background check, as required by many of our clients.

The Big Task

You’ll be diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems with confidence. Whether you're working on a multi-unit strata complex or in a high-end residential home, your job is to bring clarity, solve problems fast, and make our clients feel like they’re in good hands.

You won’t be handed easy installs all day. We want professionals who enjoy the variety, challenge, and ownership that comes with real service work.

• Communicate clearly with dispatch, office, and clients
• Keep your truck clean and stocked—you’ll be rolling out daily
• Handle paperwork on each job (our system is simple and mobile-friendly)
• Participate in on-call rotation (we keep it fair and supported)
• Look professional, act professional, and represent the brand with pride
• Show up ready, every time—no hand-holding required
• Be accountable for your work—because we trust you with it

What We’re Looking For

• Red Seal licensed plumber with 3–4+ years of hands-on experience
• Residential & commercial plumbing service and repairs (no new construction)
• Emergency calls, repipes, leak detection, fixture replacements, and full system diagnostics
• Boiler troubleshooting, repair, and replacement — especially in strata buildings and older homes
• Diagnosing heating system issues, working with hot water tanks, radiators, and combi units
• Clear, professional communication with dispatch, office staff, and customers
• Paperwork and basic reporting using our system (simple, streamlined)
• On-call rotation (fair and compensated—we don’t abuse it)
• Representing the brand with integrity, cleanliness, and sharp customer service
• Strong diagnostics, clean repairs, and good customer communication
• Valid BC driver’s license and clean driving record
• Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to doing the job right
• Able to work independently with full confidence
• Bonus if you’ve worked in strata or light commercial settings
