Headquartered in Belgium, we employ approximately 1200 staff and operate in over 150 airports across 18 countries, including Europe, Asia Pacific, and the United States.

TCR Americas is expanding our global footprint with rapid growth in North America. We are currently hiring Diesel / GSE Technicians at our Vancouver, BC workshop.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Diesel / GSE Technician, you will report through our chain of command and have opportunities for growth and promotion. Your base will be our workshop in Vancouver, BC. The main goal of the Diesel / GSE Technician is to ensure the optimal availability of vehicles and installations to meet customer operational requirements.

WHERE YOU’LL CREATE THE MOST IMPACT

You will be responsible for :

  • Diagnosis, adjustments, and repairs of vehicles, including electrical, brake, cooling, power steering systems, engines, and other electrical repairs such as replacing switches.
  • Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance and inspections independently, in accordance with manufacturer and customer requirements.
  • Utilizing TCR’s newly implemented ERP system to complete reports, findings, and repairs, aiming to reduce customer issues and improve asset availability.
  • Participating actively in TCR’s OSHA processes by understanding and complying with policies, reporting unsafe situations, near misses, and suggesting improvements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Resides close to the workshop location.
  • Possesses a valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Provides own hand tools; TCR supplies specialized tooling and diagnostics.
  • Has good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Understands safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Is eager to learn, a team player, and committed to customer service.
  • Demonstrates integrity and adheres to company policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices and applications.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
