Qualifications

  • Participate actively in OSHA compliance and report unsafe conditions.

TCR Americas is expanding its global footprint, with rapid growth in North America. We are currently hiring Diesel / GSE Technicians at our Vancouver, BC workshop.

ABOUT THE JOB

Based in our Vancouver workshop, the Diesel / GSE Technician will ensure optimal vehicle and equipment availability to meet customer operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicles, including electrical, brake, cooling, power steering systems, engines, and other electrical components.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and repairs according to manufacturer and customer requirements.
  • Utilize TCR's ERP system to complete reports, document findings, and track repairs, aiming to reduce customer issues and improve asset availability.
  • Participate actively in OSHA compliance by understanding policies, reporting unsafe conditions, near misses, and suggesting improvements.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Resides near the Vancouver workshop.
  • Valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
  • Owns basic hand tools; TCR provides specialized tools and diagnostics.
  • Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Understanding of safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Willing to learn, team-oriented, and eager to advance.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
  • Integrity and adherence to company policies.
  • Proficient with mobile devices and applications.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
