Headquartered in Belgium, we have approximately 1200 employees and operate in over 150 airports across 18 countries, including Europe, Asia Pacific, and the United States.

TCR Americas is currently expanding its global footprint, with rapid growth in our new North American business. We are hiring Diesel/GSE Technicians at our workshop in Vancouver, BC.

ABOUT THE JOB

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing company in the United States and Canada. We offer prospects for career progression as our business expands within North America.

As a Diesel/GSE Technician, you will report through our chain of command, with opportunities for growth and promotion. You will be based at our Vancouver workshop. Your main goal will be to ensure the optimal availability of vehicles and installations to meet customer operational requirements.

WHERE YOU’LL CREATE THE MOST IMPACT

You will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosis, adjustments, and repair of vehicles, including electrical, brake, cooling, power steering systems, engines, and other electrical repairs such as replacing switches.
  • Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, in accordance with manufacturer and customer requirements.
  • Utilizing TCR’s newly introduced ERP system to complete reports, findings, and repairs, reducing customer issues and improving asset availability.
  • Participating in TCR’s OSHA processes by understanding and complying with policies and procedures, reporting unsafe situations, near misses, and suggesting improvements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Resides close to the workshop location.
  • Possesses a valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred but not required.
  • Provides own hand tools; TCR supplies specialized tooling and diagnostics.
  • Has good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Understands safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Has a desire to progress, is a team player, and willing to learn.
  • Demonstrates a solid work ethic and commitment to customer service.
  • Shows integrity, adheres to company policies, and works well in a team.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices and applications.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
