Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to join their team in London, Ontario. What you would do as our Service Engineer

We are looking for someone to join our Service Engineer team. The ideal candidate will represent our brand and uphold our customer-centric approach in servicing our customer base.

You would support in carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), respond to same-day call outs, and perform scheduled repairs and upgrades across various ASSA ABLOY products related to Commercial and Industrial doors. This critical customer-facing role requires the highest level of customer service to meet our standards, and you would:

  • Fulfill customer requirements in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Complete work assigned by our planning department.
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on repairs and upgrades.
  • Complete PPM visits at customer sites.
  • Carry out quoted repairs and upgrades.
  • Attend same-day call outs to ensure building security.
  • Travel to various customer locations within your region.
  • Work within our "Safety First" culture.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer.
  • Enjoys interacting with customers.

Ideally, you will have a positive and decisive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, we value an excellent team player attitude and a collaborative approach with leaders and colleagues. Your confidence in providing first-class customer service will be key.
