At CLAAS Global Sales, our experts are responsible for selling our great CLAAS product range abroad. As a team, we stand for the successful sale of CLAAS products to our worldwide sales partners and importers. With sales companies all over the world, we offer local expertise and ensure first-class customer service with optimum service.

Your role on our team:

The Service Technician repairs machines to the customer’s satisfaction in the shop, field or customer’s location. Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing customer machinery.
• Conducting machinery inspections and set-up adjustments.
• Using a laptop to enter labor, fill out service reports, and complete warranty reports.
• Utilizing service manuals and parts books to look up specifications and parts for repairs.
• Adhering to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times.
• Demonstrating regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.
• Filling in for supervisor as needed.
• Training new employees and student interns, as required.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Your profile:

• 2-5 years’ industry experience, preferred.
• Working knowledge of Ag equipment, a plus.
• Prior experience in troubleshooting methods, a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Farm background desirable.
• Ability to travel within the region and work with limited supervision.
• Ability to operate large machinery.
• Valid driver’s license required with verifiable safe driving history.
• Ability to see, hear, and speak well enough to use a telephone, computer, and cell phone, and to present and explain product details to customers.
• Ability to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and pick up objects.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
