Job summary

Robert’s Equipment in Mount Forest, Ontario, is seeking a Heavy/Agriculture Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of equipment in shop or field settings.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, emphasizing safety, quality, and customer service. The role offers an hourly wage of 35–40 CAD, bi-weekly bonus pay, and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural and heavy equipment in a shop environment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating at its best.
• Test, adjust, and rebuild components (engines, PTOs, axles, and more).
• Weld and fabricate parts when needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues, timelines, and solutions.
• Create accurate repair quotes and maintain detailed service records.
• Keep your workspace, tools, and company vehicles in top shape.
• Continue learning through manufacturer training and certifications.

What You’ll Be Doing

Required:

• Diploma or Certificate in Heavy Equipment or Agriculture Equipment Technician (or equivalent experience)
• Valid G Driver’s License
