Service Technician for Packaging Equipment

Express Employment Professionals, Delta, is searching for a Service Technician for our client's branch location in Richmond, BC. Our client is interested in an experienced Service Technician to offer on-site support to their customers and assist technically with electro-mechanical products, equipment and systems. The Service Technician will have several years working as a Service Technician, has a strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and good customer service. This role will have 50% travel time, serve as Warehouse Supervisor as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment and machinery problems
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure high performance
• Solve issues in a timely manner
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs and maintenance procedures
• Keep accurate records of repair and maintenance activities
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Collaborate with team members for efficient and effective service

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in service technician role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and repair skills
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
• Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and documentation
