Job Summary

The role is based in Edmonton, ABand falls under the servicedepartment. The job involves servicing products, requiring basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience, and possibly vocational or technical education.

This position requires up to 30% travel to customer sites for servicing units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow HSE regulations and policies
  • Achieve team goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity (SQDP)
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly and service lines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to plan assembly procedures
  • Monitor the quality of output and maintain accurate daily production records
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and organized condition

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of safety standards and use of protective clothing
  • Experience with various equipment and procedures, including electrical or manual tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Effective communication skills, preferably in English

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production assembly or service
  • LEAN experience in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials
