Western Tractor started from the merger of 2 different John Deere Dealerships with a total of 4 stores that have had a long history as dealerships serving Southern Alberta. Our locations have been some of Canada's longest continual dealership locations in the John Deere dealer network.

Tech-Savvy:Utilize John Deere computer programs to access manuals, run diagnostics, carry out precise repairs, and install the latest upgrades and modifications to equipment.

Requirements

Education:Journeyperson Certificate – Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or Agricultural Equipment Technician (AET).

Experience:4+ years in agriculture equipment repair or a related field.Previous John Deere agricultural equipment and product experience is an asset.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and computer-based diagnostic tools.

People-Focused:Team player with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on customer service.

Soft Skills:Attention to Detail, strong time management, ability to work independently, and adaptability.

Physical Capability:Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.

Valid Driver's License:You'll need this for travel to service calls.

Training and Development:We keep our team current by investing twice as much in training as any other John Deere dealer in Southern Alberta both inside and outside of our dealership.
