Service Technician – Automated & Revolving Doors

Our client is seeking a Service Technician to specialize in automated and revolving door systems across high-traffic commercial environments—including hospitals, malls, and airports in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting & Repairs : Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components in pedestrian automatic and revolving doors.
  • Preventative Maintenance : Perform scheduled service to minimize downtime and enhance reliability in demanding commercial spaces.
  • On-Site Solutions : Provide responsive, effective service in complex environments while upholding safety standards and minimizing disruption.
  • Schedule Management : Independently plan and manage your service route while meeting timelines, safety protocols, and customer expectations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Industry Experience : Hands-on experience with pedestrian automatic door systems is required.
  • Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Certifications : AAADM certification is required.
  • Safety-Focused : Understanding of job site safety practices in busy or secure environments.
  • Problem Solver : Adaptable and efficient in high-pressure situations with strong diagnostic skills.
  • Communication Skills : Professional and courteous interaction with clients on-site.
  • Requirements : Valid driver’s license with clean abstract, ability to pass a criminal background check, and legal authorization to work in Canada.
