Job summary

Premier Equipment Ltd. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair agricultural, turf, and construction equipment on customer sites across Ontario. You will be the on-site expert, delivering routine maintenance and advanced diagnostics while supporting AMS technology and John Deere training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on service repair experience.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and basic computer functions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, CWP, and turf equipment, as well as AMS products.
• Participates in required Service EDUCATE training programs.
• Supports customer clinics.
• Reviews and explains maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with customers and documents them on work orders.
• May promote and sell Premier Equipment Ltd. service programs directly to customers.
• May establish and implement effective stocking processes with the Parts Department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory in the vehicle.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties.
