Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on Field Service Technician to join our clients team in Oakville, ON. In this role, you’ll be providing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, and repair services for signage systems across Ontario. If you’re experienced, technically inclined, and comfortable working at heights, we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Oakville, ON

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexibility required for occasional after-hours shifts)

Wage: $25/Hour

Key responsibilities could include but are not limited to the following:
– Respond to field service calls and dispatches
– Repair and replace LED modules, power supplies, and controllers
– Perform LED retrofits and lighting maintenance
– Diagnose and fix electrical issues in signage systems
– Install interior and exterior signage based on project specs
– Commission new LED signs (training provided if needed)
– Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting
– Clean signs, replace ballasts, and inspect connections
– Operate service trucks and elevated lifts
– Follow safety protocols and supervisor directions
– Maintain detailed records of each service call

What You Bring:
– At least 2 years of experience as a Field Service Technician
– Previous experience in the signage industry is a strong asset
– Completion of a college program in electronics
– A technical certificate is an asset
– Valid G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (DZ license is a plus)
– Comfortable with lifting, climbing, and working at heights
