Job description

As a Service Technician, you will provide maintenance support for a client in the chemical manufacturing industry, ensuring efficient operation and management of equipment and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data using mill computer systems and Excel software.
• Present data utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.
• Manage inventory and order products.
• Handle equipment management and maintenance, including assembling, troubleshooting, and housekeeping tasks.
• Basic mechanical experience
• Experience in paper mill operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to perform laboratory tests and troubleshooting
• Experience with hand tools and preventive maintenance

Located in Manitoba, the position offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate after 40 hours, and on-call shifts are compensated during weekends. The role involves working independently, with managerial oversight every 2-3 weeks.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 / hr.
